Day 1
The drive saw Phil Mclean, Jonny Eden and I up at 6am for what should have been a warm sunny 8hr drive down. But it was sooo shit it gave us rain and rain the whole way from Christchurch to the Frew Farm.
Arriving at the Farm to see all the hard work the Frew Boys and Co had put in to be ruined by mother-nature was definitely a low point for the whole trip.
Day 2
We Headed of early into town to pick up some supplies and gumboots its was that wet but all we could do was wait for the rain to hold off. We were lucky enough to go and ride the Airbag in Invercargill get some practice in before Jam Day and all went well with that ending our Friday night.
Day 3
Jam day was upon us and big names such as Tomas Zejda, Kyle Baldock, Benny Phillips and alot of other aussie shredders set foot at the farm. The Airbag was set up again and another sweet session for all the riders before Moto Started. Alot of work was being put into the bmx mtb section as it was so muddy it cleared up for a wee while but not enough to be fully dry. We had a quick session mtb and bmx joining together to squeeze as much runs out as we could before the rain yet again would decide to pour down. Some spectators decided to leave but a treat was in for those who stayed and a big ups to them. We managed to get one last session in before the rain really started to pour down and that was Farm Jam 2012 over.
Big Thanks to my sponsors Dartmoor and Fearless Cycles Au and espicially the Frew Boys once again doing a great job, it cant be perfect every year and the weather definitely didnt want to play its part hopefully next year will be another great time had by all!
